I saw "Brokeback Mountain" on Friday in Royal Oak, as that is the only place IN MICHIGAN that it is playing, and it was so good. It was basically like the gay and lesbatron film festival, with the addition of maybe like 10 fag hags. As anticipated, Heath Ledger does a fantastic job. Lucky Michelle Williams, having his baby and shit.
This weekend also involved a lot of holiday shopping, a visit to Chuck E. Cheese and eating. I like all of those things.
I had my interview at the Detroit PL on Friday and it was one of the weirder ones, and that is saying a lot. My brother thinks that I am just afraid of getting full time employment and that is why I keep finding things wrong with the offers I get. Maybe he is right? I do like being at work, but I also like doing my own thing, like going to Target so who knows. Anyway, I *think* I should be able to get a DPL spot. There are a bunch of openings, and hey, I'm cute and qualified. They will let people know in Jan. My job is just to keep on keepin' on.
My mom and I are going up to Saginaw this week. I haven't talked to Kate yet, but I'd like to stay at her house. I hope she says that is ok. Leona is coming in to town. Yippee! The rest of the week is holiday infused and it feels nice.
I ate Taco Bell last night. I feel like Taco Hell this morning. Good thing the library is pretty empty so no one can see my gas face. Or smell for that matter.
